Rob Hoehndorf (who was in Aber but is now in Saudi Arabia) has funding for MSc, PhD and internship placements in KAUST. He can fund 3 or more PhD or MSc students at the moment (i.e. free housing, healthcare, flight and 25-30k USD stipend per year). The internships are also fully funded, last from 1-6 months (ideally 3-6 months) and come with free flight, accommodation, and a stipend of 1200 USD/month. This would be good for students who are not sure if they really want to stay in Saudi for years, or for students looking for summer opportunities. Application deadline for admission in Fall is 9 April 2015. And admissions in computer science at KAUST are handled by Rosemary, who was responsible for student admissions in Aberystwyth until few months ago
