Free places on eSkills Programme for Final Year Students

Are you ready for the world of Employment?
e-skills UK is looking for final year Computing/IT Students to participate in a new project which will enhance and increase your readiness for the world of employment. The programme gives you access to some world class on line learning and exposure to network and engage with a number of Employers from the Computing/IT Industry. The benefits of the programme include:

  • A one year licence for on-learning giving you access to a variety of knowledge and tools to support your career path.
  • Participating in a number of events being facilitated by e-skills and employers. These will be local or held at one of your University locations. A great opportunity to engage and network and be given advice that will help and support you in a real working environment.
  • Access to a professional pathway which is aligned to the national standards to support your career aspirations.
  • The opportunity to join and actively use the social networking groups which will support the programme.

We are working with a number of Employers who are keen to work with you. This will develop your business and interpersonal skills, and give you a greater insight into how to secure a role within the IT Industry.

Some of the events we are offering are:

  • Networking Coffee Mornings/Visits to Businesses
  • Mock Interviews
  • Events focusing on Team Building, Networking, Q&A Panel and Skills Session around Effectiveness at Interview/Assessment Centre and Effective Communication
  • Buddies, Mentors and Coaches from a variety of organisations
  • Supporting Organisations with Community days
  • Set projects/Tasks set by employers
  • Templated Personal Development Plan to support training and development
  • An opportunity to meet with a variety of employers for you to see what organisation suits your career path.
