DevOps Analyst for an established eCommerce Systems Integrator (http://www.eclipsegroup.co.uk)
Hinckley • Permanent Role • £20k – £25k

We are an established eCommerce Systems Integrator and an opportunity has arisen for a junior level candidate to join a growing team. The DevOps team supports and monitors high-volume transactional websites for key customers and its objective is to ensure integrity and availability are maintained.

Our customers rely on us to design, develop, host and support business critical systems for them and we are looking for candidates that can embrace a proactive and committed customer service ethos

To be considered for the role, you will ideally have had exposure to and a strong interest in :

• Linux
• Unix scripting – Ruby, Perl or Bash
• Open source Java web platforms including, for example, Apache and Tomcat
• IaaS and tools such as Puppet or Chef
• Some application knowledge of ActiveMQ, Alfresco and Solr

A full training program is available and we are prepared to invest in and develop this key area.

We are primarily looking for high self-motivation, excellent verbal and written communication skills and solid problem solving ability.

Our office is based near the M69 and is commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Birmingham and Northamptonshire.
