Graduate Web Developer

Job Description:

The company consists of a small group of motivated individuals with a strong academic background in Mathematics and Computing. The role will involve working closely with one other developer in the creation of a learning management platform. You will collaborate by writing full pages and components in React for which you will write your own endpoints in Express.js using Mongoose to write your own NoSQL queries to access any required data while conforming to version control practices. This opportunity is an exciting way for a person with the right drive to kick start their career in an environment that provides good career progression and plenty of experience.

Must-haves:

• A degree closely related to Computer Science or equivalent demonstrable experience.

• Highly motivated and capable of producing clean code with limited intervention by extrapolating on objectives.

• Demonstrable coding experience and exposure to the required technologies through either personal projects or previous employment.

• A constant desire to learn new technologies and best practices.

• Outstanding work ethic

• Polite and respectful

Bonus if you have the following:

• Previous experience in developing web platforms

• Worked with Amazon S3, Wasabi, or similar data storage services

• Worked with Cloudflare or a similar CDN

• Experience with MongoDB Atlas

Graduate web developers – Gloversure Welshpool

We are looking to take on graduates to train up here, one role to become a Magento Developer and another as a web developer building custom web portals etc.
