BBC engineering trainee scheme

We are currently recruiting for our Broadcast Engineering Trainee Scheme here at the BBC, we have roles available at many of our offices across the UK, so we’re keen to promote this to local students/graduates as much as possible.

Just as a brief overview we’re looking for the following:

  • Someone to hold a degree (at least a 2:2 or equivalent) in Electronics, Physics, Maths, Computer Science or a closely related subject, coupled with high level of logical and mathematical reasoning skills. Accreditation of your under graduate degree by a professional body such as IET, IMechE desirable.
  • Someone to bring a sound knowledge of audio, video and broadcasting principles and an understanding of the demands of a broadcasting environment

Agxio – AI and ML in agriculture

Agxio are a a relatively new AI and Machine Learning Technology business focused on the Agriculture industry and is now forming a team to be based at the Aberystwyth Innovation and Enterprise Campus (which is located near to Aberystwyth University). The team will be focused on helping to complete and evolve the new Agxio command centre and to also help develop a number of new market leading products. The plan is to build a Centre of Excellence at the AIEC for a number of product streams and this new team will form the basis of this.

They’ve sent through ads for five separate jobs – Data Architect, Enterprize Architect, Machine Learning Dev, Tech support and Visualisation and Low Code Dev. These are all aimed at recent grads.
