Red Hat Graduate Consultant (Summer 2017)

Red Hat have got 3 places on their graduate programme starting this summer:
The Red Hat graduate programme offers extensive technical and professional training during the first two years of your career with Red Hat. You will get the chance to collaborate on stretch assignments with other experienced Red Hat Consultants and Architects in a variety of locations across the UK, as well as the opportunity to contribute to community projects and events. At the beginning of the programme you will be assigned a mentor and buddies to support you (alongside your manager).

Emerson Graduate Positions

Emerson in Newtown are keen to hire graduating students and previous graduates. They’ve sent us 4 job ads. They say: “as Graduates we do not expect experience but good energy and lots of interest perhaps with some hobby and/or project work done over the last 4 or 5 years that may have relevance.”

Funded PhDs in Data Science

The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Data Science, University of Edinburgh have 10 funded PhD places in Data Science. The CDT is a 4-year programme: the first year provides Masters level training in the core areas of data science, along with a significant project. In years 2-4 students will carry out PhD research in data science, guided by PhD supervisors from within the centre. The CDT is funded by EPSRC and the University of Edinburgh.
