IT & AV Officer jobs in UCL

Mat Burt-Robinson, who did Comp Sci in Aber, would like some more Aber Grads to come and work in his team. He says:

There are two posts available in supporting IT and AV within my team at UCL. These roles will primarily be support for staff and researchers within the Division of Biosciences at UCL (https://www.ucl.ac.uk/biosciences/about) and encompasses 1st and 2nd line technical support, including installing client devices (PCs, Linux & Macs) and associated peripherals and dealing with hardware faults and software incompatibilities. It will also require significant knowledge of supporting desktop operating systems (PCs, Linux or Macs), mobile and remote access technologies and strong problem solving & fault finding skills. Though there will be many opportunities to grow/increase skills.

This is probably a good role for a graduate (or soon to be graduate)/someone starting out, looking for a challenge, working closely with academics and core central IT service staff, who want to build up their CV or portfolio. The pay is good, with similar benefits to working at most Universities, the role will be based on the Bloomsbury campus, so right in the middle of Central London.

Closing date 24th May
