Liberata

I had a visit recently from Liberata; they were looking to establish a relationship with us for taking IY students. So the attached job advert is one we are very likely to get someone into. I am also told that the pay is likely to be very good.

So this is an excellent one for you. Just send a CV (and I’d suggest a covering letter, though they don’t ask for it). And don’t be put off by the fact that they mention technologies you don’t know – we discussed this, and they realise no-one is going to have all of them! But you will learn, which will be great for you.

Companies House (Cardiff)

Companies House in Cardiff have just come back to us asking for students. We have a student there this year, whom I will be visiting in the next few weeks, and I understand is having a good time. So this is a nice opportunity for a placement in the capital of Wales. Note that they intend coming to Aber to interview, so you don’t even need to go anywhere!

Last year you very kindly assisted us with our Industrial Placement opportunity and I was hoping that you would be able to do so again this year.  We are now able to offer a placement for 2019/20 at Companies House (Cardiff office) and would appreciate it if you were able to advertise this opportunity to your Computer Science students. We would again be happy to come up to Aberystwyth to hold interviews for this position.

Should you have any queries re. the above or the attached, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards
