Do you have experience and interest in IT?  We have an opportunity for you to join the Telemat team to provide ICT services to business clients across Wales.  The role requires a good working knowledge of servers, networking, Wi-Fi systems, desktops, laptops and peripherals etc.  The role will require on-site and remote ICT support for internal and external customers.

Applicants will need to demonstrate experience/qualifications in Microsoft server operating systems, networking and firewalls, cloud-based products, Wi-Fi/Broadband installation and an understanding of Office 365, together with a high standard of customer care and communication skills.

Salary: From £23,000 per annum, negotiable dependent on level of experience and

qualifications.

Additional benefits: Antur Cymru provide an attractive package of benefits which include 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension, employee assistance programme, cycle to work scheme etc.

Hours of Work: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for more staff as we grow, and I wanted to ask if you have any excellent candidates finishing this year who live nearby to Salisbury or who would relocate here.

I am attaching the Job Specification that we have posted.  I understand that your graduates would not have the experience that we are looking for, but we are after three people so we would be able to take at least one student.

The role will involve working closely with one other developer in the creation of a learning management platform. You will collaborate by writing full pages and components in React for which you will write your own endpoints in Express.js using Mongoose to write your own NoSQL queries to access any required data while conforming to version control practices. This opportunity is an exciting way for a person with the right drive to kick start their career in an environment that provides good career progression and plenty of experience.

Must-haves:

• A degree closely related to Computer Science or equivalent demonstrable experience.

Basis training – an introduction to consulting & organisational change

Basis, a management consultancy with an office in Wales, is offering training in “An introduction to consulting & organisational change” over 2 x half-days on 6 and 13 May dates tbc (see attached slide); at the moment, this training is just being offered to Aberystwyth and Cardiff University students subject to application.
